Every journey starts with love, for Petar it meant meeting Dinka. Hand in hand, they faced challenges and uncertainties that lay ahead, their love serving as a beacon of strength and resilience.
Petar and his beloved wife built a home filled with warmth and joy. They raised a daughter, nurtured her with love and wisdom, and created cherished memories that would last a lifetime. They traveled, drove the cars they always dreamt of, had parties and made sure their life was full of wonders. They did everything together and were a strong union through good and bad.
They shared passions that strengthened their bond. Their love for gardening and winemaking flourished and in their backyard they cultivated vegetables, grew their own grapes and made wine together.
He, sneaked away from home to play soccer instead of doing chores. She, cooked like a goddess and gossiped with girlfriends over the phone.
Together they raised both a daughter and a granddaughter in their potato land, showered they with unconditional love and put them first, always.
With helping hands of family and friends they built their dream house in Marina, Croatia. They planted loads of olive trees and grapevines all around their land.
The olive trees, a symbol of their enduring love, were meticulously tended. During the olive picking season, Dinka and Petar would gather the olives together, often joined by family and friends, turning the laborious task into a festive occasion.
Like a sudden storm on a tranquil sea, Petar's beloved wife was taken from him far too soon. Though she was no longer by his side, Dinka lived on in his heart, her spirit a constant presence in his life.
And as he looks back on their time together, he knows that their love is eternal, a bond that transcends even death itself.
Despite the profound loss of his Dinka, he carried on with unwavering strength, taking care of his family and honoring her memory by continuing the work they both loved.
Petar's commitment to his family and his land ensures that the legacy he and Dinka built will live on. As the sun continues to shine over their trees, the Zagar legacy will flourish, ensuring that their love will endure for generations to come. Their spirit will live on in every jar and bottle, a reminder of the simple joys of life and the timeless beauty of tradition.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This oil is produced from indigenous olive varieties that grow in the area around the Poljica in Croatia. Quality certified with "Izvorno Hrvatsko", which means that all the olives come from Croatia. Only a few products with this certification are currently available.
Our oil has a fruity taste, some bitterness and a moderate spiciness. Fits perfectly in salads, dressings, sauces and as a flavoring agent.
